Not everyone knows that Passo Rolle was the birthplace of the first ski school in the Dolomites, a tradition of which we are very proud and that we carry on teaching our guests to tread the slopes thanks to our teacher Michele Barigelli, Gello for friends.
The ski area of the Pass extends for 15 km with a school camp ideal for beginners and with slopes for all tastes, a paradise of tranquility away from the light years confusion and the crowds of the most popular places that allows you to enjoy safely the fantastic views of the Pass and the huts scattered on the slopes. And the ski bus stop to reach in a few minutes other ski-areas is 20 meters from us!
You can access the slopes of the Passo Rolle area directly from our hotel to ski on a quality snow that, thanks to the 2000 meters of altitude, is maintained at its best until April, unlike the “lower” locations of altitude.
From the hotel you can also access a toboggan run for adults and children served by a comfortable chairlift. At Albergo Vezzana you will find a covered garage for cars and bikes, a ski room with boot warmers.
The paradise of alpinism
On the Pale di San Martino, right here in front of Passo Rolle, there are so many walls of the Dolomites available to climbers, as there are so many high mountain climbing and trekking, for those who choose a real holiday dedicated to mountaineering. The Hotel Vezzana, because of its fantastic position, is ideal also in winter for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing enthusiasts. The 2000 metres of the Pass guarantee fresh, quality snow until April and the itineraries for the Pale, the peaks of the Lagorai, the lakes of the Colbricon and the exclusive Val Venegia leave directly from our Hotel!
